Montreal’s Demise Of The Crown are back with an impressive new video for the track Fixated.
On the track, this quintet brings many ingredients to their melting pot of styles, including occasional influences of Death Metal, components of Hard Rock, groovy riffs, catchy choruses alongside explosive guitar licks reminiscent of Eddie Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen and Dimebag Darell.
What is immediately striking is lead singer Darren Beadman’s vocal techniques and unique tone which calls to mind the likes of Warrel Dane, Sebastian Bach and Rob Halford.
The band released their self-titled debut EP in 2015 with a music video for the song “We Are Invincible” followed by another video for the single “Black Rain” in 2016. They began gaining a reputation here in Montreal by playing shows with acts such as Hellyeah, Devin Townsend, Firewind, Katatonia and more.
Demise Of The Crown have just finished recording a brand new LP, to be released on April 24th, as well as more new music videos. Watch out for live dates later in the year.
