No matter where I travel, what city I visit…I always compare it to Montreal.  The rich history mixed with multiculturism, and a certain “joie de vivre” makes it one of the best cities in the world.

Toronto has Drake waxing poetically about the Six, so why not have our own anthem that celebrates the 514.

Sibling duo Juliana and Jesse JUST COSTA releases today their “love letter to our city” as Juliana explains.

“We feel so lucky to be from here; people are so unique and open. It’s such a free-spirited place; inspiration can be found everywhere”, continues Juliana.

Inspiration led them to not only produced and recorded this track on their own, but they also produced, directed and edited the video.  A first on many fronts.

In the video, our pair are “kickin’ it in the 514” by visiting some landmarks, soaking in some local flavors and even getting our city road crews to dance.

“Montreal’s got no shortage of funky, interesting people, and we met a bunch of quirky characters along the way, some who ended up in the video”, says Juliana. “In the end, we couldn’t think of a better way to pay homage to the city we love.”

No wonder the streets are so bad…our workers keep getting distracted!

Props to the longboard kick-flip!

Watch the new video and soak in some warmth, sun and that retro vibe.
