Even when not running, or cross country skiing, Sheenah Ko is always moving.

In between supporting bands like Besnard Lakes or Little Scream, Sheenah moves forward with her solo project.

Her recent participation in the Centre d’Expérimentation Musicale (CEM) was a burst of create energy and collaboration that expanded her creative universe.

Her vision as an artist was captured in the Award Winning Wrap Me Up video.

The UK noticed, by awarding her team Best Choreography at the 2020 UK Music Awards, beating out Beyonce.

That same video is nominated for the best video at this year’s Juno Awards!

Nowhere In Time (Remix)

Sheenah reached out to her network of friends in the music industry and will be releasing a series of remixes in the next several months.

The ambient title track from her solo album set the tone for the rest of the album.

Andre Papanicolaou collaborated in this first project by injecting some of his airport samples, which gives us a sense of being on the verge of travel.

Beats and guitar are added to give us a very Lynch-like experience, as our travel memories are brought up from the distant past.

“We’re all sort of lost in time now, and those days seem so long ago. Meanwhile it’s super important to try to be now HERE in time.” – Sheenah Ko

Instant friends who both have a love of Radiohead and formed a cover band.

What amazed me was how tight this band played the full In Rainbows album, one of the more technical ones, with only hours of band practice.

Andre is very active in the Montreal Music scene both as an artist and producer.

His remix is of Nowhere In Time really increases the depth of this first track, and makes us anxious to hear the next collaborations.
