Simple Plan & Sheila E. to headline charity event in Pierrefonds-Roxboro

Simple Plan, Sheila E. and The Box will headline the 15th edition of Strangers in the Night on August 24th, 2018 at Borough Hall Pierrefonds-Roxboro.

The charity event will feature 85 restaurants and entertainment with proceeds from #SITN2019 benefitting the Simple Plan Foundation, Lymphoma Canada and Friends for Mental Health.

The event organisers have also announced the 1st edition of Rêve dans la Nuit which will take place on Saturday, September 7th, 2019 at Place Claude Léveillé, featuring 45 restaurants and entertainment. Headlining the Rêve dans la Nuit event will be Roch Voisine. He will be accompanied by other artists such as Michel Pagliaro, Ravi Soca Band, Pierre Perpall, Nancy Martinez and The Boogie Wonder Band. Proceeds from #RDLN2019, will benefit the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Charles Bruneau Foundation and the Children’s Wish Foundation.

This year’s events will be raising money to help provide advancement in finding a cure for Lymphoma, help young people in need by easing
their difficult passage to adulthood and by supporting the victims of life-threatening illnesses, provide support and other resources to those
close to a person with a mental health disorder, to give all children with cancer the best chances of recovery by financing research and
supporting the development of projects in the area of pediatric haematology and oncology, help fighting heart disease and stroke and to grant wishes to Canadian children between the ages of 3 and 17 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Strangers in the Night, founded by Larry Day in 2004, has raised over 6 million dollars for charities across Montreal. With an army of volunteers, the Strangers in the Night Gourmet Gala team will greet local celebrities and thousands of attendees with the same goals in mind, raising money for West Island charities. This year a new event has been added to the SITN family, Rêve dans la Nuit which will replicate the success of the West Island event and help raise money for Laval charities.
