Since forming in Montreal in late 2007, The Great Sabatini have made some fairly unusual videos so we weren’t exactly surprised to witness the brilliantly weird new clip for their song “Still Life Maggots” off their brand new album, Goodbye Audio.
The album marks the band’s eighth album across their 11-year career, and always trying to stay on their toes, it was recorded completely live off the floor.
“We’re trying to give people a raw-ass document of abrasive sludge and noise rock in the most hi-fi package possible.” say the band. “We’re not interested in polish or smoothing over any rough edges… just achieving something of high sonic quality that presents the band that we are today.”
Goodbye Audio was recorded by Sean Pearson (Cursed, Shallow North Dakota), mixed by Scott Evans (Kowloon Walled City) and mastered by Carl Saff (Big Business, KEN Mode).
